CV Pro Tools — Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 12, 2026
This policy explains how Clear Vision Design and Marketing LLC, a Missouri limited liability company ("Clear Vision," "we," "us") handles information on CV Pro Tools (app.cvprotools.com), the software businesses and entrepreneurs use to manage their contacts, follow-up, booking, payments, and websites.
1. Two different roles
- The Client is in charge of its customers' information. A business using CV Pro Tools (the "Client") decides what it collects about its customers and leads, and why. That's the Client's relationship. Its own privacy notice covers it.
- Clear Vision runs the software. We host the information for the Client and process it only to provide the Platform. In this role we act on the Client's instructions.
If you're a customer of a business that uses CV Pro Tools and have a question about your information, ask that business first. It can see and change it.
2. What we collect
About people who sign in (Client staff and users):
- name, email, phone number;
- login details and security records (sign-in time, device and browser type, IP address).
About people the Client records in the Platform (customers, leads, guests) — entered by the Client or by the person through the Client's forms, calendars, and chat:
- name, phone, email, and other details on forms the Client creates;
- appointments and bookings;
- messages sent and received through the Platform, including text messages, email, and website chat;
- payment and invoice records: amount, date, and customer contact information. Card numbers go to the payment processor, not to us.
When a Client sets up its account (the Launch Kit's "Find us online" step): the business name, state, and website and social page addresses the Client enters, and the public information we read from those pages, such as its logo, colors, and contact details. If the Client approves a logo, we store a copy with the name of the person who approved it and the time.
Automatically: basic technical data such as pages visited and errors, used to keep the Platform working and secure.
3. How we use it
- to run the Platform for the Client;
- to send the messages the Client asks us to send;
- to keep the Platform secure, fix problems, and prevent misuse;
- to answer support requests;
- to meet legal obligations.
4. What we don't do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use a Client's contact lists to market our own products to those people.
- We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-message opt-in information with third parties for their marketing.
5. Text messages
Texts on the Platform are sent by the Client, under the Client's own business name. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts from that business, and HELP for help. Opt-out requests are honored. Consent is collected by the Client, not by Clear Vision. The Client's own privacy notice and terms apply to those messages.
6. Who else touches the data
We use service providers to run the Platform. They may handle information only to serve us and the Client:
- HighLevel — the core platform: contacts, forms, calendars, messaging, automations, and reporting data;
- Stripe — processes payments made through the Platform;
- Cloudflare — hosts the Launch Kit lookup and provides security and delivery services;
- Anthropic — provides the AI that searches public web pages to help a Client fill in its Launch Kit. It receives only the business name and state, the web addresses the Client enters, and the public page text we read from them. It never receives anything from a Client's customer, contact, or payment records;
- Telephone and email carriers, reached through HighLevel — to deliver text messages and email.
A Client may also connect its own tools to its account. Those connections are the Client's choice and are covered by the Client's own agreements.
We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect people or the Platform from harm. If we're ever involved in a merger or sale, we'll require the new owner to honor this policy.
7. Keeping it safe
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures: access controls, encrypted connections, and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach affecting your information, we'll tell the affected Client so it can notify you as required.
8. How long we keep it
We keep information as long as the Client's account is active. After the account ends, we delete it within 90 days, except where we must keep records by law. Backups roll off on their normal cycle.
9. Your choices
Ask the business you dealt with to see, correct, or delete your information, or to stop contacting you. If you contact us instead, we'll pass your request to the Client and help it respond. Client staff can update their own account details in the Platform.
10. Children
The Platform is built for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child's information is in the Platform, tell the business or us and we'll help remove it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. If a change is material, we'll notify Client administrators and update the date above.
